🌿 Intention of Creationtide
The intention of Creationtide (also called the Season of Creation) is spiritual, pastoral, and theological, not political or scientific. Its purpose is:

• To focus worship on God as Creator
• To deepen our understanding of creation as sacred
• To encourage care for the earth as a Christian responsibility
• To connect environmental stewardship with discipleship, prayer, and justice
• To give congregations a dedicated season to reflect on creation themes (much like Advent focuses on expectation or Lent on repentance)

In short: Creationtide is meant to help the church pray, teach, and act in ways that honor God’s creation and our role within it.
