Join us for Advent II with Rev. John Mitchell, this Sunday, December 7th at 10:30 a.m.

Special Announcement: Diocesan Offices Open House. This Sunday, December 7, 3-5 PM
Bishop Hughes and her staff invite you to come see the new diocesan offices! Tour the facilities, enjoy fellowship with friends across the diocese, even join in a seasonal sing-along around the piano.
Refreshments served will be cookies (with gluten-free options), hot cider, cocoa (with a toppings bar!), and coffee.
A note about parking: While our new offices do have ample parking, we hope many people will attend, so please carpool if possible. So that you can be prepared in case our parking lot is full when you arrive, the map below shows the most convenient options for side street parking (Sherbrooke Pkwy to the west and Rossmore Terrace and Knollwood Dr. to the east). Download the event flyer with parking map.

CENTERING PRAYER-December 7, 14, 21 at 7 p.m. via Zoom: St. John's church in Boonton is offering online Centering Prayer on Sunday evenings in Advent at 7pm via Zoom (invitation below).  We are looking at the symbols of Advent from a contemplative point of view, and then having a 20-minute practice of Centering Prayer. This week we will be taking a look at John the Baptist and the material we will use for reflection is attached.
Newcomers and drop-ins are welcome! The guidelines for this prayer are also attached, please go over them if Centering Prayer is new to you.
