We will have a table at the annual Boonton Day from noon to 4 p.m. Rev. Sharon will be blessing animals at our booth. Tell your friends to bring their pets, even cuddly stuffed ones to be blessed. We need volunteers to help set up the booth and to greet visitors at the table.

Michael Muller, rector, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 973-334-4429; [email protected] New program explores faith’s relevance today- MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. — How is faith relevant in my life? How do I deepen my faith? Where is God in my life? Beginning Sept. 21, an eight-week evening program of faith exploration and discovery will provide an opportunity to explore these questions. The series will include inspirational talks, discussions and worship experiences, offered through the collaborative ministry of the Episcopal churches of Boonton, Denville & Mountain Lakes. It is open to anyone interested, whether they belong to a faith community, are exploring different faiths or have no faith affiliation. Participants will gather Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 215 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes. Free childcare will be available. For more information, contact the Rev. Immediately following the Sunday Service, we will have a healing service and laying on of hands. Bring your concerns for yourself or others. Boonton Food Pantry Sunday. These continue to be challenging times for many, so if you’re able, please grab a few extra shelf-stable items, cans with pull-tops (powered mild, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, etc.) also diapers, feminine products on your next trip to the grocery store and remember the pets; dog and cat food (litter too) are requested items at the food pantries.
